Chibi characters have captured the hearts of many art enthusiasts around the world with their adorable and exaggerated features. Derived from the Japanese word “chibi,” meaning “short” or “small,” Chibi characters are stylised and cute renditions of people, animals, and even inanimate objects. These characters typically have big heads, large eyes, and tiny bodies, which contribute to their endearing charm.

Our Chibi course is designed to help aspiring artists develop their skills in creating these lovable characters. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist looking to expand your style repertoire, this course provides a comprehensive exploration of Chibi art.

Throughout the course, you will learn the fundamental techniques of drawing Chibi characters, including their unique proportions, expressive facial features, and distinctive body poses. You will delve into various aspects such as character design, gesture, line work, coloring techniques, and creating dynamic compositions. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with different media and explore digital art tools to bring your Chibi creations to life.

We are proud to showcase the talent of our student, Audrey Quinton, who has produced two delightful illustrations during her time in the Chibi course. Audrey’s artwork demonstrates a keen eye for capturing the essence of Chibi characters, showcasing their playful personalities and charm. We absolutely adore both of her illustrations and commend her dedication and skill in bringing these characters to life.

Join us on our Chibi Course and embark on an exciting artistic journey. Unleash your creativity, master the art of Chibi, and bring joy to yourself and others through your adorable characters.
