Weekend Art Challenge – Toilet Rolls!

Welcome to our latest art challenge and it was a fun one this week! A few weeks ago we asked our students to save their toilet roll or kitchen roll middles. We had a challenge that would involve them, however didn’t allude to what it was! Our challenge encouraged our students to think of something ingenuous to paint on them, fun, realistic or wacky. We have received some very clever designs which you can see below.

Our featured image is shared by two lovely students this week. Emma Evans painted the Colgate tube using a kitchen roll middle and Lynne Bagnall painted the fabulous the beach scene. We found it difficult to choose the featured image this week as everyones toilet rolls are absolutely amazing. Well done to you all!

We hope that everyone enjoyed this challenge. Stay tuned for a new Weekend Art Challenge posted here tomorrow.

Currently cruising three seas, but that doesn’t stop the challenge if your heart’s in art. Here’s my humble toilet roll refashioned in between Greece and Montenegro

Toilet roll. I’ve cut an old card roll in half, painted it using a scrunched up piece of tissue and dabbed the card. I’ve drawn a seahorse and added a goggly eye and some stickers to added atmosphere.
The first photo is the front of the roll and the second picture is the back of the roll.

a bit of fun for my toilet roll challenge, loved painting this as it’s my hope for the future, Mr and me on a beach somewhere warm and sunny holding hands in the sunshine when we’re old(er) and grey(er)
