Botanical Art & Photography Competition: Threatened Trees

Botanic Gardens Conservation International has opened an illustration and photography competition for a chance to be on the cover of the Global Tree Assessment, the first-ever conservation assessment of all the world’s known tree species.

Enter your best illustration or photo of a tree that is threatened before June 1st, 2021 for a chance to be on the cover of the Global Tree Assessment, the first-ever conservation assessment of all the world’s known tree species.

Limited to one entry per person, we are looking for images of threatened trees: those that are classed as Vulnerable (VU), Endangered (EN), or Critically Endangered (CR). Images will be compiled as a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) image library of threatened trees.
