What Christmas means to me. Friends and family past and present I think of as I decorate the Christmas tree with my children every year . I remember when I was about 7, that’s about 30 odd years ago my mum sewing felt decorations for the tree. Carefully stitching beads and sequins on to them one by one. How I miss her now. Another decoration was cross stitched by a Dear old friend and a Pom Pom from sheep’s wool made by a more present one. A Silver boat from my mother in law which represents where me and my husband met. The Snowman and polar bear are more resent editions since having children. I decorate the tree with memories and love. That’s what Christmas means to me.
