SAA Liberating Lives Competition

Call for Entries

The SAA, society for artists, encourages you to create a piece of art that could be exhibited at London’s prestigious Mall Galleries in partnership with healthcare charity Sue Ryder Care.

For the second year running the SAA is proud to be supporting Sue Ryder Care’s Art Liberating Lives campaign and invites artists of all forms to enter Art Liberating Lives, a competition that culminates in an exclusive exhibition that celebrates the power of art as a form of therapy, expression and liberation.

Artworks must be created to the theme of “liberation”. Selected pieces will be shown at the Art Liberating Lives exhibition at London’s prestigious Mall Galleries in December. Submission costs £12.50 per entry and you can submit your artwork(s) from now until 21 October 2009.

New for this year there will be regional collection points for selected artworks (details available from July), artists’ awards and prizes, including a prize sponsored by the SAA, and for this year only Sue Ryder Care has lowered its sales commission to 35% (+VAT).

It’s a great opportunity to not only have your artwork shown in one of London’s top galleries but to also help fund care for people and their families living with Cancer, Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Huntington’s Disease and Motor Neurone Disease.

Submit your artwork and find out more at:

Thanks for your support!
