Benedicte Marcon

We are absolutely delighted to congratulate Benedicte Marcon on completing the Landscape Painting Diploma Course with a very well deserved Distinction!

Benedicte is based in France and came to the London Art College having already completed our Beginner’s Drawing, Beginner’s Painting and Watercolour courses, building a strong and varied foundation before embarking on the Landscape Diploma. That dedication to her own development really shows in the work she has produced.

Studying under the guidance of tutor Paul Weaver, Benedicte has worked with a wonderful confidence and sensitivity across her landscape paintings. Working primarily in watercolour, she brings a lovely freshness and luminosity to her pieces, capturing everything from sun-drenched riverscapes and peaceful countryside scenes to intimate views from a window and the quiet atmosphere of a farmyard with grazing sheep. Her colour work is beautifully handled, with a particular skill for capturing natural light and the shifting tones of the French countryside she paints so lovingly.

As Paul noted, Benedicte worked hard and really applied herself throughout the course, and it is clear that her commitment has paid off in every piece she has submitted. She has also recently begun selling her watercolour paintings, and with work of this quality, it is easy to see why they are so well received.

We wish Benedicte every continued success and look forward to seeing where her painting takes her next. If you would like to find out more about our Landscape Painting Diploma Course, you can do so here.
