We are delighted to share some exciting news from one of our cartooning students, Mark E. Meng. Mark has recently been published in The New Cartoonist magazine – a fantastic achievement and well-deserved recognition for his work.
Mark studied with tutor John Byrne on our Cartooning Diploma Course, where he developed his skills in humour, satire and visual storytelling. His cartoons have a sharp wit and a distinctive style, qualities that have now been showcased to a wider audience through publication.
The New Cartoonist is a magazine dedicated to fresh talent and topical cartooning. It brings together new and established cartoonists, offering readers a clever mix of political satire, humorous takes on current events. You can find out more about the magazine on their website here: The New Cartoonist.
We are so pleased to see Mark’s work being recognised and published. He has worked hard throughout the course, taking on feedback and developing his voice as a cartoonist.
You can also follow Mark on Instagram: @Meng_the_Merciful to see more of his work and keep up with his cartooning journey.
Congratulations once again, Mark we are proud to have been a part of your success, and we look forward to seeing where your cartooning career takes you next!
