Welcome to our latest Weekend Art Challenge results post, and what a joy this one has been to put together! We asked our students to celebrate the season by drawing or painting Spring Flowers, and the response was absolutely wonderful. Spring flowers are such a beloved theme, and it is clear from the artwork below just how much everyone enjoyed getting stuck in.
From tulips and daffodils to cherry blossom and irises, students have chosen a gorgeous variety of subjects and brought them to life in an equally varied range of media. We have watercolour, acrylics, coloured pencil, ink, and even a beautifully spirited acrylic illustration of dancing tulips. Some students painted from their own gardens, others drew inspiration from artists they admire, and one student even returned to their piece to capture the bloom as it opened further, which we thought was a particularly lovely idea. The whole collection feels like a proper celebration of spring, and we are so proud of everyone who took part.
A brand new Weekend Art Challenge will be posted here tomorrow, so do come back and join in!
