We’re thrilled to share the wonderful news that student Jacqueline Prothero has just completed our Drawing & Painting Diploma Course with a well deserved Distinction! Under the expert tuition of Paul Weaver, Jacqueline has demonstrated strong observational skills, an adventurous approach to materials and a clear commitment to developing her own creative voice.
From carefully observed pencil sketches and expressive figure drawings to detailed still life studies and bold interior paintings, her portfolio shows both variety and depth. We particularly enjoyed seeing her process unfold in her still life progress shots, showing real thought and planning behind the final piece. Her imagination and skill are evident in every artwork.
Paul shared that Jacqueline is now continuing her creative journey with the Children’s Book Illustration Course, so she’s keeping him on his toes! We are excited to see where her illustrations will take her next.
