Raffaella Somma

I’ve been a London Art College student on and off for a while taking up a couple of courses. I completed the Watercolour Diploma and I’m almost at the end of my Pet Portrait Course.

My cousin is mad about gnomes. She has a few hiding in her house. The mystical forest creatures are often seen around Christmas time standing on shelves, holding up books, near flower vases or scattered around randomly.

I decided to investigate. I was lucky enough to capture them whilst no one was watching (or so they thought…)

Here’s an acrylic painting on wood board I made for my cousin to keep as a gift. Now we know what they get up to. I hope you like it.

Happy New Year everyone!
