Weekend Art Challenge – Moonlight

Welcome to our latest weekend art challenge where we set our students the task of painting or drawing ‘Moonlight’. We have received a wonderful array of artwork and if you missed this challenge – you can still have a go! We love encouraging all of our readers so that everyone can have a go and take part.

Our featured image this week is by student Kate Tollman and we absolutely love it. Scroll down to see the Moonlight Star Catcher in full. We also would like to mention Rosalind Spilling’s lovely watercolour of a moody moonlight night below. The clouds and moonlight shining through are fantastic! Well done to Rosalind and well done to everyone who took part this week! Superb achievements!!

We hope that everyone enjoyed this challenge. Stay tuned for a new Weekend Art Challenge posted here tomorrow.

A wolf howling at the moon. The wolf is drawn in pencil. The sky is children’s paints. And the ground is chalk pastels. I did enjoy this challenge. It was fun and very easy to put together.
