Pet Portrait Diploma student Iona Findlay has created some absolutely stunning coloured pencil drawings for one of her sets of work on the course. The first few images below are exercises in practicing how to capture eyes, fur, noses and tongues in pencil, coloured pencil and pastel. The final drawing is a full head study of a horse which encapsulates everything learnt within the practice exercises. Iona’s outstanding studies and final piece are simply beautiful and we hope our budding pet portrait students are as impressed with her work as we are.
