We would love to see our students draw or paint Pot Plants for this weekends challenge. From potted herbs in your kitchen window, to a your Cactus, Bonsai or Mother-in-Laws Tongue. However big or small, we would love to see a plant in a pot.
For our traditional art students draw or paint your plant or plants in any medium at any size including a background if you desire. If you don’t have access to a plant at home, we have added some photos for you to use. Click on the images to view them larger.
Botanical artists – this is a great opportunity for us to see your beautifully detailed paintings or drawings creating flowers and leaves in your own style of work.
Illustration students – why not make it more illustrative. Why not sketch in pen and markers a number of plants in different designed pots filling the page. Be experimental. Be Bold and bring your own style into your work.
