Update from Bea….

About a month ago we put out a request on our Facebook page for students, past and present, to email us with their favourite piece of work that they had done recently and we received some wonderful emails which we have featured here on the blog. One students who passed the Pet Portrait Diploma with flying colours has got in touch with two of her recent pieces. If you would like to see more of Bea’s work, you can visit Bea’s gallery here >>

It’s been two years since I completed the Pet Portrait Course. Just been checking out your Facebook and saw that you were inviting  past students to submit some of their work. So here are a couple, one in pastel pencil and Cretacolour Nero Pencils, that I’ve completed this  year.

I’ve dabbled in just about all the mediums,  still struggling with oils and finally decided that pencils are my favourite, graphite and pastel  pencils and of course animals are my first preference.

I’ve attended a  few workshops that have been held locally,  there is a known
artist, Kate Jenvey and last week-end I attended one  of her workshops doing Coloured Pencils. Kate works mainly in graphite,  coloured pencils and oil, her works is realistic and detailed, which might be of interest to your readers. http://www.katejenvey.com/

Two of my graphite kangaroos were sold and sent off to Germany, I was  thrilled about that!
