Success for Illustrating Children’s Books Student…

We have recieved a wonderful email from a studnet who recently received her Diploma for sucessfully compleating the Illustrating Children’s Books Diploma course. Gay entered into an Australian competition and has won a prize for her illustrations and she has written to us explaining a little about the competition below. I hope that our current Illustrating Children’s Books students are inspired! If you would like to visit Gay’s website, please visit the link below.

The competition’s aim is to provide new illustrators with feedback and expose their work to publishers, who judge and view the shortlisted entries. I’m delighted with this and I’m sure the course is partly responsible! These were my winning illustrations, for a text by Claire Saxby….”
