Quaint Houses – students artwork

This painting is from a student who is currently working on the Drawing and Painting Diploma course. I thought this was a really great and fun representational painting of a row of houses and cottages, typically English and quaint. It has loads of character and the artist seems to have developed a good style for their work and I look forward to seeing more from them in the future.

  1. I enjoyed a lot this painting. The way your ancestors built houses in countryside or townships! The dance of the roofs, if real, is observable while rolling down the hill on one-speed/big-tire bike. Splendid. Charming.

  2. Glad you like the painting Bernard, it looks quite typically English doesn’t it – the old style of houses and cottages we have.

  3. This is truly lovely! i love the style, i could live there! Thank you for sharing with us!
