Audrey Q. \u2013 Cartooning Diploma Course. I started the course in November 2018. The distance learning aspect was ideal for me because I divide my year between England and Spain. I have been amazed at just how much I have learnt in such a short space of time \u2013 and not just in terms of artistic<\/em> techniques. My tutor, John Byrne<\/a>, has been extremely encouraging and I have been able to experiment with a range of drawing styles \u2013 which has been very liberating. 

The technical support team has been incredibly helpful \u2013 specifically Melanie \u2013 who initially helped me to improve the resolution of my drawings and paintings so that they would reproduce more accurately. Melanie\u2019s recommendation of a program called GIMP got me experimenting with layers \u2013 a lot of work but well worth it. I now keep two websites supplied with cartoons and can alter the backgrounds from Southend to the Costa Blanca with the click of a mouse! Many thanks Melanie.
