My name is Kakuko Okamura and I just finished the Illustration<\/a> course with a distinction. I’m so delighted to complete the course with good results. Last year I completed the children’s illustration course. Perhaps my lack of understanding of what illustration is or my drawing and painting skill was not good enough? I didn\u2019t do well and I didn\u2019t enjoy the course much.<\/p>\n

So when I finished children’s illustration I changed to the illustration course as I wanted to learn more about general illustration. This course had six assignments, each a different illustration genre. Each assignment was a new challenge for me and I learned lots as well as finding it quite enjoyable. If anybody is thinking to do children’s illustration and not sure about what you really want I highly recommend to do the illustration diploma first. This will help you find your suitability for your area of illustration.<\/p>\n

Thank you to tutor Spencer Hill<\/a> for guidance and encouragement. I got thorough feedback every time and I believe to get this feedback, its worth doing this course.<\/p>\n

Now what is my future?<\/p>\n

One thing is sure, I\u2019ll keep drawing and painting.<\/p>\n
