Alfred Blakers successfully completed the online\u00a0Landscape Painting\u00a0Art Course<\/a> studying with tutor Alan Dedman<\/a>. Students can experiment with painting landscapes in watercolour and oils. They can\u00a0work out in the field from life\u00a0or \u00a0from the comfort of their own home working from photographs.<\/p>\n

Alan encourages his students to research and experiment with creating watercolour sky studies of ever changing \u00a0clouds\u00a0at various times of the day.\u00a0Students have painted\u00a0some amazing studies and you can see just a few of them in the Landscape Painting\u00a0Student Gallery<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As you can see from the painting below Alfred has created a beautiful and dynamic piece. Alan works with his students helping them with their colour mixing (Alan also tutors the Colour Awareness Course<\/a>) and guides students in learning how to create depth and distance using colour and tones within their paintings.<\/p>\n
