Anita De La Hunty has created a beautiful drawing of a flower in a glass of water for the Beginners Drawing Course. This is a superb still life subject for anyone learning to draw as it not only deals with glass, water, light, shade, shadows etc it deals with refraction in the water between the glass and the flower. You could add anything in the glass from flowers, pencils, brushes to spoons, the latter being very popular. A teaspoon in water can be tricky! We really appreciate the advanced drawing techniques Anita has used here, particularly adding more depth of tone and detail int he focal pint of the piece – the flower. Excellent work!<\/p>\n
