This is a very interesting blog post today as we not only can post the artwork but also the photo of the still life Alan McMahon used for one of his drawings on the Coloured Pencil Course. It is superb to draw form life but its always handy to take a photo of the set up you are working from for future reference. Don’t forget to take the photo from the exact same angle you were working form and this will enable you to see how accurate you have been when comparing the two.\u00a0It can really help improve your observation skills. We think that Alan has done a marvellous job here and we would like to congratulate him on his excellent study.<\/p>\n
