Here\u2019s a happy ending to my personal Graphic Design journey, although I have to say I spent almost double the time on this particular many-faceted (and fascinating) course. Its content, sheer range of applications, the problem-solving, and all the demands of the discipline I thoroughly relished. The attentive critiques were therefore very much appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortuitously, this past Spring Nantwich Museum in Cheshire ran their first-ever Open Art Exhibition \u2013 the theme being \u2018Heritage\u2019. A historian at heart, I decided I really should enter. I combined this knowledge with my graphic design and especially lettering skills. Out of 220 entries, mine was one of just 70 selected. Delighted \u2013 yes; but there\u2019s more. My piece wasn\u2019t returned to me at the end of the exhibition. Instead it was sold. Definitely a neat way to finish \u2013 and celebrate \u2013 my studies!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
