Nurgul has been developing a strong and recognisable style, and this collection highlights both her versatility and her growing confidence across different subjects and media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most striking aspects of Nurgul\u2019s work is her understanding of atmosphere. In her landscape paintings, she handles light with sensitivity and control. The warm street scene, with its sunlit buildings and soft shadows, demonstrates her ability to create depth and guide the viewer through the composition. The distant minaret and glimpses of water add a sense of place and storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her harbour scenes are particularly atmospheric. The painting of boats resting on luminous water at sunset shows confident colour choices and a strong grasp of reflection. The subtle shifts between cool blues and warm golds create a calm, balanced mood. There is a real sense of stillness in the water, contrasted with the soft energy of the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nurgul also explores more dramatic lighting, as seen in her sunset seascape with the tower rising from the water. The rich oranges and deep shadows create a bold, impactful composition. The strong silhouette against the glowing sky shows increasing confidence in tonal contrast and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside her landscapes, Nurgul\u2019s botanical studies demonstrate careful observation and patience. Her pencil drawing of the rose shows thoughtful shading and a clear understanding of form. The structure of the petals has been built gradually, with attention to light and shadow. Her red pencil study of the rose focuses beautifully on tone and texture, while the oil painting of roses in a vase brings a softness and delicacy through controlled brushwork and harmonious colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The still life of the vase of roses is particularly refined. The muted background allows the flowers to take centre stage, and the subtle highlights on the vase give it a convincing sense of volume. There is a gentle, classical feel to this piece which suits the subject very well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is encouraging to see Nurgul moving confidently between graphite studies and oil painting. This willingness to explore different techniques strengthens her overall understanding of tone, structure and colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We look forward to seeing how Nurgul continues to develop her work. Her growing control of light, atmosphere and composition is clear, and this collection shows real dedication and progress. Well done Nurgul.
