This weekend\u2019s art challenge was all about one simple letter .. the letter T. As always, our students rose to the challenge with creativity, variety and plenty of personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artwork our students have created below just shows how much scope there is within a single starting point like a simple letter. Our Weekend Art Challenge is designed to be flexible for our students and open to students of all abilities. Sometimes, all it takes is one letter, an idea and the decision to begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well done to everyone who took part. It is wonderful to see such an engaging and varied set of artwork! A brand new Weekend Art Challenge will be launching tomorrow, so if you have been thinking about joining in…. New Years resolutions are still valid! Now is the perfect time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

T is for Telephone. This is a young woman with her purple telephone. I drew her originally on paper and digitally rendered\/coloured the image. In my cartoon diploma, I am trying different head angles and hand positions. This exercise uses several examples.
