Following on from yesterday\u2019s blog post, we\u2019re back with the second half of Nurgul Ozkeser\u2019s work for our black and white weekend challenge. When we received her full submission, we knew straight away it needed splitting into two parts. The amount of time, thought, and detail she has put into these pieces really stood out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This second collection includes more complex scenes, including architectural drawings, landscapes, and imaginative compositions. Some are detailed ink drawings, others more expressive in tone, but all sit well within the black and white theme. The balance between precision and creativity in her work is impressive, and it\u2019s clear she\u2019s developed a strong eye for composition and structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We especially liked the image of the cityscape inside the shell, and the teacup with the view painted inside, both clever ideas that combine observation with imagination. Her architectural studies also show confidence with line and perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you again, Nurgul, for allowing us to post all of these. It\u2019s great to see such a variety of work from a single student and we\u2019re pleased to be able to share it here. Don\u2019t forget, we\u2019ll be posting the full range of student submissions from the challenge on Thursday, so stay tuned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
