We are thrilled to showcase this imaginative illustration by student Hannah Carey, who is currently studying on our Illustrating Children\u2019s Books Diploma Course<\/a>. This piece is part of a set Hannah submitted for one of her assignments. We love how each animal has its own distinct personality and love the idea what the birds are looking at their reflection in the turtle’s shell. The composition is wonderfully balanced, with lots for young readers to explore and the colour palette brings a warm tone to the illustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Illustrating Children\u2019s Books Diploma is one of our most popular courses, designed for anyone who has a passion for storytelling through pictures. Whether you are aiming to become a published illustrator or just want to explore your creativity, the course takes you through everything from character design and composition to creating a professional picture book layout. With feedback and support from a professional tutor, students are guided every step of the way in developing their unique style and storytelling voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
