Welcome to this weekends art challenge, where we thought it would be fun for you to draw, paint or even take an arty photo of your favourite or most treasured art materials for this weekend challenge. Choose ones perhaps that you have just bought that you love to look at, or the ones that you use over and over, that are like an old friend. Let us know why you love the materials you chose to portray too! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would prefer just to create artwork from our collection of photos below, feel free to do that too! We are very much looking forward to seeing your ideas and creativity. Most of all, have fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea of these challenges is to help students improve their skills by drawing, painting and creating regularly.

So try to submit work that you have created specifically for the challenge – or course work you are currently creating for your art course. Sometimes our challenge themes cross over with what students are learning. Our challenges are great practive for your coursework too!

Remember to submit your artwork to us via email if you would like it posted on our blog next week.
