This weekend, our students rose to the occasion with some beautiful artwork for our Weekend Art Challenge. It was inspired by the theme of Remembrance Sunday. We have received some very moving pieces which you can view below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our students have drawn and painted stunning poppies pieces along with some figurative work too. Many of them have used a limited pallet of neutral tones and of course reds and greens for the poppies. Well done to everyone who took part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new challenge will be posted tomorrow\u2014stay tuned for something a bit more light hearted which we hope will make you smile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weekend Challenge: Remembrance Sunday This week I\u2019ve posted two pictures. The first one is of a poppy. Mediums used children\u2019s paint outlined with a black marker. The second one is the painted poppy with a bugle over the poppy. Medium used for the bugle is bronze acrylic paint.
