In this challenge, we will explore the haunting and futuristic world of a Dystopian Cityscape. Dystopian settings depict societies in a state of decline or oppression, often with a dark and foreboding atmosphere. Your task is to create a captivating cityscape that reflects a dystopian world, combining elements of darkness, futurism, and societal decay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some tips and ideas to help you get started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research Dystopian Themes: Before you begin, familiarise yourself with dystopian themes in literature, film, and art. Explore works like &#8220;1984&#8221; by George Orwell, &#8220;Blade Runner&#8221; by Ridley Scott, and &#8220;Metropolis&#8221; by Fritz Lang. Analyse the visual cues, architectural styles, and societal elements commonly associated with dystopian worlds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the Mood with Lighting: Lighting plays a crucial role in creating a dystopian atmosphere. Use shadows, dramatic lighting, and harsh contrasts to enhance the sense of darkness and foreboding. Sometimes our challenge themes cross over with what students are learning.
