Welcome to our latest weekend art challenge. This week the theme was based on ‘Rainbows’. Students had free reign on this one, so they didn’t have to create the idealistic view of a rainbow, the choice was theirs. We have received some amazing pieces of work with rainbows incorporated into very creative pieces of artwork. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We very much love the watercolour created by Kelley Brautigam, showing an autumnal rainbow. We have used it as our featured image today and you can scroll down to see it in full. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to everyone who took part this week, some beautiful pieces. Keep up the great work as it really does help with your improvement. Drawing and painting things that you wouldn’t normally do, can make you think outside the box and might even inspire you to broaden your horizons when choosing what to paint in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope that everyone enjoyed this challenge. Stay tuned for a new Weekend Art Challenge posted here tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
