Some wonderful pieces of artwork from London Art College student Rebecca Smith who is studying the Illustrating Children’s Book Diploma Course<\/a>. Rebecca has completed her first set and wrote the following to tutor Maggy Roberts which she submitted her work, which you can read below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I generally hope to achieve better understanding of how to create professional artwork for a children\u2019s book and improve my illustration style. I recently took an interest in illustrating when reading to my young son. I am intrigued by the range of styles and interpretations of literature in children\u2019s stories and the different media used. I hope to explore them and develop my own style and maybe one day create a book for my son, even if its just for him.\u00a0<\/p>\nRebecca Smith<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
