Tracey&#8217;s Cow&#8217;s nose that she had drawn is simply exquisite and we are vey much looking forward to seeing more from Tracey in the coming weeks and months! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I really enjoyed this part of the course. I spent a lot of time experimenting with different papers and mediums all with varied results.\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The Horse portrait. <br>This is with pastel and pencil on pastelmat. I have never actually drawn a full horses head before and felt I struggled with this a lot. I was very aware of the shadows around the bridle and also the texture of the horses coat itself. I do feel I haven\u2019t captured this in the way I would have really liked but also later thought that it may have been better with a different colour back ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"1343\" src=\"https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23284\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold.jpg 1020w, https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold-768x1011.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The dog and toy. <br>This one I really enjoyed doing. This is in pastel and pencil and\u00a0 felt more in control over the finer lines with this mixed medium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"919\" src=\"https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23282\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold1.jpg 1020w, https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold1-768x692.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dog nose. <br>I wanted to push myself so used again mixed medium but this time of pastels, pencils and oils. I am finding it really hard to get the texture, softness and detail I an happy with by using just oils alone. But I have been trying really hard to get to grips with this medium. What I was happy about was shadows and tones I managed to capture and thought that by using this mixture I managed to create a looser result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"822\" src=\"https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold3.jpg 1020w, https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold3-768x619.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The dog wearing a collar.<br>For this one I used just pastels. Again I enjoyed this but found it hard to get the softness of the white coat using just pastels alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23286\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold4.jpg 1020w, https:\/\/www.london-artcollege.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Tracey-Mold4-768x602.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Animal tongue.<br>I chose a cow\u2019s tongue as I thought the colours and textures were really good to try and capture.
