Welcome to our results for our weekend art challenge on the alphabet theme. This week our letter was ‘K’ and our students came up with a number of ideas including a variety of kingfishers, Koi, kiwi fruit, kittens, koalas and kookaburras… and a King Henry VIII among others!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our favourite this week which is our feature image is by student Jo Ssl who says…. “K is a kid letter, always kicking a ball and keen to play in a kart or with a kite…” We absolutely love it, so many things beginning with the letter K encapsulated within one piece. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see it in full! Well done Jo! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The letter K \u2013 this is Kathmandu, or at least the suburbs, with the Himalayas in the distance. It\u2019s strange and sad how such a troublesome situation can have such a beautiful backdrop. This was a very quick oil sketch on board (A4).
