www.childrensbookcircle.org.uk<\/a>\u00a0are a voluntary group who put on events based on raising awareness of the importance of children’s books, and we’re hosting an event about the importance of design and illustration in the world of children’s books. We’re hoping that the event will be of interest to any students looking to peruse a career in either design or illustration in the children’s book industry.<\/p>\nThe event will take place at the Penguin Publishing offices on 80 Strand from 6:30pm-8.30pm on the 6th October.<\/p>\n
I have attached the flyer with full details about the event above and would be grateful if you would advertise it on an ebulletin or website or pass it on to any parties to whom the event may be of interest. For students we will be discussing the options and considerations of this competitive, creative and fast-changing industry with a panel of established industry experts.<\/p>\n
