LAC TUTOR PAUL WEAVER HAS HAD 2 PAINTINGS SELECTED FOR THE ARTIST EXHIBITION – NOW OPEN!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the Patchings Festival, featuring ‘The Artist’ and ‘Leisure Painter’ Open Competitions, could not take place this year, the good news is that the competition still went ahead online with a virtual exhibition available to view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul Weaver is delighted to announce that he has had an oil painting accepted for ‘The Artist’ exhibition, entitled \u2018Cold Winter Morning\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a scene in his local area, which is beautiful at anytime of the year, but the fresh snowfall and hazy winter light made it particularly appealing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The painting is one of 70 chosen for this category in the exhibition, which you can view in full here: https:\/\/bit.ly\/2OAzsoY<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another of Paul’s entries has been awarded Highly Commended. \u2018Dappled Shade, Sydney Gardens, Bath\u2019 is also an oil and is one of his favourite views along the Kennet & Avon Canal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy viewing the exhibitions, there is a terrific mix of subject matter, styles and mediums that make a wonderful show of work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
