Rebecca Friend is working with tutor Gayle Mason on the Pet Portrait Diploma Course and here are a couple of Rebeccas pieces from the first and second sets of artwork. The dog in oils I am actually really pleased with. It took me a while but once it came together it really seemed to work. I definitely work in layers rather than alla prima with oils, at the moment anyway. I am still really rusty. This was done on primed MDf panel, I actually thought it came out well, sometimes painting on board doesn\u2019t go right for me.<\/p>Rebecca Friend<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
