Anne Lloyd

We are delighted to showcase a selection of work by student Anne Lloyd, who is studying on our Drawing and Painting Diploma Course. Anne’s paintings are full of freshness and energy. Each piece shows her willingness to explore and enjoy the process of painting, rather than being restricted by too much detail. From lively brushstrokes in her landscapes to her expressive use of colour in architectural subjects, there is a real sense of freedom in her approach. It is wonderful to see this confidence emerging through her course studies.

The Drawing and Painting Diploma is designed to give students like Anne the opportunity to develop both their technical and creative skills. The course covers a wide range of topics including observational drawing, still life, landscape, figure work, and imaginative compositions. Students work in different media such as pencil, charcoal, watercolour, acrylic, and gouache, allowing them to experiment and find the techniques that suit their personal style.

Anne’s work is a great example of how students can bring individuality to their assignments while still building on the foundations taught in the course. We really look forward to seeing how her work develops further as she continues her studies.
