We are delighted to showcase the artwork of Lorelei Biddulph-Armstrong, a talented 15-year-old student who has been studying on our Drawing for Children Course with tutor John Byrne.
Lorelei has shown real creativity and skill across her assignments, with drawings and paintings that capture both detail and imagination. From beautifully observed studies of strawberries to vibrant coloured pencil work and inventive illustrated poems, her portfolio reflects not only her growing technical ability but also her enthusiasm for experimenting with different media and subjects.
On her feedback form, Lorelei wrote that she “enjoyed all of it” and felt that the course had helped her improve her drawing skills. She also noted that she has been “lucky enough to have most mediums” at home to explore, which has clearly contributed to the variety and quality of her work.
Her tutor John Byrne has been very impressed with her progress, praising her for her energy, attention to detail and the confidence that shines through her pieces.
It is wonderful to see such talent developing at a young age, and we look forward to following Lorelei’s artistic journey in the future.
If you know a young person who loves to draw and would like to develop their skills with expert guidance, take a look at our Drawing for Children Course. It is a fantastic introduction to art that encourages creativity, experimentation, and confidence-building in a fun and supportive way.
