Welcome to our latest weekend art challenge where we set our students the task of creating artwork on the subject of Wildlife! What a wonderful array of paintings and drawings this week. We particularly love Emma’s Wombat and if you scroll down the page, see if you can find the camouflaged Elephant but Dinah. Extremely clever techniques.

Ni NiIvanaThese are 2 male impalas from the Southern African bush.I drew them using pastel pencils from a bought photo. The one that seems to be drawn with one horn is not missing the other one. She took a photo last Summer. I am just starting to learn pen and ink drawing. The bird’s body is too big – more like an ostrich! It was fun drawing it.
