This weekend’s art challenge focused on a subject that artists have loved for centuries. Owls. With their striking eyes, beautiful feather patterns and unmistakable silhouettes, owls offer wonderful opportunities to explore texture, light and character.
We were delighted to see how our students approached the theme. As always, it is inspiring to see the range of styles and techniques on display. From pencil and watercolour to pen and ink, and acrylic and mixed media, the individuality of each artist really shines through.
Well done to everyone who took part. Our students commitment to practising regularly and tackling new subjects is what keeps skills developing. We are so pleased to be able to bring you these challenges to keep your skills improving week after week!
Another challenge will be announced tomorrow, so keep your pencils, brushes and sketchbooks ready.
