These vibrant still life paintings by Barbara Oloan were completed as part of our Still Life Certificate Course and show a strong understanding of colour, composition and paint handling.
Barbara has explored a range of subjects across the course, from floral arrangements to everyday objects, using bold colour choices and confident brushwork to bring each composition to life. We especially love the inverted bottles painting which create a playful and imaginative composition.
Together, these works demonstrate how our Still Life Certificate Course encourages students to experiment with colour, composition and personal interpretation while building solid technical foundations. Through structured projects and tutor feedback, students develop the confidence to move beyond traditional still life arrangements and explore their own visual language.
