Weekend Art Challenge Results – Chickens!

What a cheerful collection of artwork we have for this week’s art challenge! Our students have been busy drawing and painting chickens, and the results are absolutely wonderful. From proud roosters to inquisitive hens, each piece captures the unique charm and character of these amazing birds.

We love how all of our students have approached the challenge differently, some went for realistic depictions, others focused on expressive pieces full of colour. There is such a variety of styles and media on show this week, we love them all.

A big well done to everyone who took part! You have truly brought the chicken coop to life with your creativity and imagination. Scroll down to see this week’s fantastic gallery of student artwork and stay tuned for another challenge tomorrow!

Something different this week. This is my Wycinanki Chicken, drawn in a traditional Polish “cut-out” art style.
I sketched this with a pencil, used a thin fineliner pen for detail and contrast and coloured it with felt tips.
