We are delighted to share the success of Hanh Nguyen Thi Duc, who has just completed the Landscape Diploma with tutor Paul Weaver and achieved a well deserved Distinction.
Hanh is based in Vietnam and has worked extremely hard throughout the course, producing a beautiful body of work inspired by her surroundings. Her paintings capture scenes of Vietnamese life, from rice fields and village streets to traditional architecture and waterways, bringing a refreshing perspective and a rich cultural flavour to her studies. Paul commented on how rewarding it was to see such unique and varied subjects, making a welcome change from the more familiar landscapes he usually receives.
Hanh also shared these kind words about her experience:
“I also would like to thank you for your caring guidance and encouragement to me over the past year, which has helped me much in painting and improve myself. I found myself getting improved a lot throughout the course with you.”
We would like to congratulate Hanh on her fantastic achievement and the dedication she has shown throughout her studies. Her work is vibrant, thoughtful, and full of life, and we are very much looking forward to seeing how her painting develops in the future.
