Welcome to our latest Weekend Challenge. We would love to see a drawing or painting of the view from your window. Perhaps you have a lovely view into your garden or maybe you can see lots of rooftops from an upstairs window. If you don’t have a particularly good view, you might even consider taking your sketchbook out and about and sitting in a coffee shop, drawing the view from the shop window or from a car too!
There are lots of options and we would love for our students to be creative in their ideas. You can use any medium you wish, any size, shape or composition. We have added a few ideas for you, which do include some surroundings around the window and this would be a great addition too. We look forward to seeing what you come up with – let us know how you get on!
The idea of these challenges is to help students improve their skills by drawing, painting and creating regularly.
So try to submit work that you have created specifically for the challenge – or course work you are currently creating for your art course. Sometimes our challenge themes cross over with what students are learning. Our challenges are great practive for your coursework too!

Email your artwork to us for inclusion on the blog next week. We sometimes take challenge posts submitted to our Facebook group to add to the collection, however we may miss some, so if you really want to see your work here, make sure you email it to us!
