Seascape Paintings by Frederick Thurgood

We are thrilled to display student Frederick Thurgood’s seascape paintings on our blog today. Frederick has been painting seascapes while working on the Landscape Diploma Course with us at the London Art College.

Frederick said….

I am a seventy year old disabled veteran trying to improve my skills in oil and water colour . I`ve been painting since leaving the Royal Navy thirty years ago and I love painting seascapes especially with ships in them.

The online course works really well for him as he can create his artwork from home in his own time.

Frederick has a love and passion for the sea and consequently it shows in his work. As you have probably gathered, the old adage is true. Paint what you love and it will come through in your artwork. We can see the passion in Frederick’s seascape paintings and most of all we are sure that he loved every minute of painting them. Furthermore Frederick has received excellent feedback from his tutor Alan Dedman which is excellent.

Do you like painting landscapes and seascapes? If so the Landscape Diploma course will be perfect for you. Have a look at our website and our Landscape Online Art Course page to find out more.  Visit the London Art College website today.
